Product Description
The navy Brumby donkey jacket comes straight out of the Aubin archive. It's based on a 1960's vintage British Railway jacket made by Arthur Miller. Originally designed for those working on the construction of the Manchester ship canals this style soon became a uniform for the British working class and non-conformist subcultures. It's made from fabric woven in the UK by Abraham Moons & Sons, established in 1837 in Guiseley, West Yorkshire. The Melton weave is still manufactured to exacting British standards. The Brumby is manufactured in the UK too, we have partnered with Cookson & Clegg in Blackburn to produce this high-quality garment. They have a proud 160-year history of UK manufacturing producing some of the most robust military apparel. The quality of their work is reflected in this long history and well renowned reputation.
